Kancho Sami Koivumäki on monipuolinen ja aktiivinen toimija suomalaisessa ja kansainvälisessä kamppailulajiyhteisössä.
( MAAS Internationalin kaltaisessa yhteisössä Kancho toimii linkkinä perinteisten arvojen ja nykyaikaisen järjestötoiminnan välillä. Hän takaa, että liiton piirissä harjoiteltava laji säilyttää alkuperäisen luonteensa. Kun järjestö myöntää diplomeja tai tunnustuksia, Kanchon allekirjoitus ja leima (hanko) antavat niille kansainvälisen painoarvon ja legitimiteetin)

Country Representative of MAAS Finland: He serves as the official representative in Finland for the worldwide network called Martial Arts All Styles (MAAS) International. In this role, he connects Finnish martial arts practitioners and clubs with the international community.
Membership Administrator of MAAS International: He holds an administrative role within MAAS International, where he is responsible for membership-related matters, such as maintaining the member registry and registering new members. MAAS International does not charge membership fees from individual members.
Secretary of the MAAS Finland Karate Dan Collegium: He acts as the secretary in this Collegium, which aims to support karate practitioners restarting the art and those aiming for a black belt in Finland. He works closely with the chairman, Shihan Oiva Tyni.
Assistant Instructor of the Kuzuri Kai Ju Jutsu System: He is involved in the Kuzuri Kai Ju Jutsu system as an assistant instructor.
Secretary of the Kuzuri Kai Ju Jutsu System Development Group: He actively participates in the development work of this ju jutsu system in the capacity of secretary.
Chairman of Varsinais-Suomen Kamppailu-Urheilijat Ry (Combat Sports Athletes of Southwest Finland):
Representative in the World Budo and Kobudo Federation: He also holds representative duties in this international federation.
Active in other organizations: He is involved in the Raisio Parish Council, the Raisio Reservists’ board, and an active participant and instructor in various support roles within National Defence Training (MPK), currently serving as the Head of Security for the Maritime Safety Event. He also works as a steward at events organized by the Guides and Scouts of Finland, including roles such as Head of Security at Tammileiri XIX. In summary,
